What this is: the conference speaker bio for Dr. Randy Bostick — defense contractor / former USAF physicist and former Science Advisor to AARO — presenting “Applying Scientific Rigor to UAP Study” (25 July 2026, 9:30–10:30 am).
Randy Bostick — Defense Contractor, US Air Force
Dr. Randy Bostick received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in mathematics and physics from Wright State University and his Ph.D. in Physics, with a concentration in electro-optical engineering, from the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT).
He served for more than 20 years in the United States Air Force, specializing in image processing and remote sensing. During his career, he developed advanced methods for extracting actionable intelligence from Department of Defense and Intelligence Community sensor systems.
His final assignment was as Science Advisor to the All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), where he helped advance the U.S. government’s approach to Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) studies. His work emphasized the application of rigorous analytic techniques, the effective use of existing government-owned sensor systems, and the design of dedicated sensors and collection strategies to improve data quality and scientific rigor.
While at AARO and now as an independent consultant, Dr. Bostick remains committed to strengthening scientific methodologies and fostering collaboration across civilian, academic, industry, and government communities.
