What this document actually is (read carefully — the secondary coverage over-reads it): a 5-page PDF. Page 1 is the one-page intelligence memo below — a security/leak flag about the unit’s confidential stamps appearing in a public magazine, which downplays the link (“printed randomly… not part of any document… nothing in common with the cited article”). Pages 2–5 are the attached Xerox of the Revista UFO article itself (by Daniel Rebisso Giese of the Grupo Ufológico da Amazônia) — a ufologist’s piece, not a military report. 1989, publicou uma matéria entitulada "O FENÔMENO DO CHUPA-CHUPA NA AMAZÔNIA",
que traz estampados os carimbos pertinentes a 2ª Seção do Estado-Maior do
Primeiro Comando Aéreo Regional — A2/I COMAR (CONFIDENCIAL, Art 12 do
Regulamento para Salvaguarda de Assuntos Sigilosos — RSAS e o da 2ª Seção do
I COMAR), conforme xerox em anexo. Tais carimbos foram estampados de modo
aleatório, não fazendo parte de nenhum documento, inclusive não tendo nada em
comum com a citada matéria, pois quando se referem a Aeronáutica usam o grau
de SECRETO, conforme xerox anexo.

**Plain-English sense of the memo:** The Galeão Air Base intelligence sector reports that _Revista UFO_ #7 reproduced classification stamps belonging to the A2/I COMAR intelligence section. It asserts the stamps were applied "randomly," are "not part of any document," and "have nothing in common with the article" — adding that genuine Aeronáutica references use the **SECRETO** grade. I.e., the memo concedes the stamps are the unit's own, but frames their appearance as a stray/leak curiosity rather than proof of a substantive secret Chupa-Chupa file.

The annex is Daniel Rebisso Giese's (Grupo Ufológico da Amazônia) article "O Fenômeno do Chupa-Chupa na Amazônia." It describes the 1970s Pará/Maranhão wave — luminous "aparelhos" projecting beams that burned mostly women and were believed to draw blood ("Chupa-Chupa"), citing period newspapers (_O Liberal_, 16-07-1977; etc.) and the Colares locus (Chá de Colares, ~70 km NE of Belém).
